The opportunity

Our Airports team specialises in the design and maintenance of airfields, heavy duty pavements, airfield drainage, bulk earthworks, general civil engineering and airfield planning. We have developed a reputation in industry for our commitment to excellence, successful project completion and sustained business growth.

Based in Melbourne, we are looking for a Civil Engineer who, in this role will: -

  • Utilise your expertise in Civil Engineering design and design management, with a focus on conceptual, preliminary and detailed designs for a wide range of Airside-related projects
  •  Provide solutions and service to clients on site, taking lead roles in project engineering and management as required
  • Use your strong client relationship skills, to understand our client's core business and ensure that services meet their expectations 
  • Deliver multiple projects, offer innovative solutions, with an emphasis on quality, service and value for money 
  • Explore a range of projects, with the opportunity to travel
  • Salary Expectations in the region of $65,000 to $90,000

About you

You will have a Civil engineering degree and professional experience in airside airfield and airport design in a consulting environment.  Working toward CPEng status, your experience will be across technical, delivery and client-facing activities in airside pavement design, rehabilitation and airfield pavement management. You will be experienced in AutoCAD and AviPLAN and have a sound knowledge in Civil 3D.

You will also have a exposure to overall Airport master planning to complement you design skills

You’ll get ongoing support from experienced mentors, development opportunities, support towards professional memberships as well as a yearly graduate conference and access to an established and active graduate social community).  As part of the role you will be a member of our teams who undertake maintenance inspections, which will take you to far flung corners of Australia.
