The GHD Darwin office is experiencing tremendous growth, and as such we have an exciting opportunity within our Transport and Water Group for a Junior Civil Engineer.
This role would suit an enthusiastic Junior Civil Engineer looking to further their career within an inclusive and supportive Engineering Consultancy whilst working on local, national and overseas projects. Working closely with the Business Group Leader and supported by the wider Transport and Water team, this position will see you continue to develop your engineering, project delivery, and client facing skills further within a close-knit, supportive team environment whilst offering a broad variety of work that will see you involved in:
What you will bring to the team:
- General Civil infrastructure planning, design and documentation;
- Project Management and contract administration;
- Enhancing client relationships and liaising with current and new clients;
- Delivery of technical solutions to projects; and
- Preparation and implementation of job plans.
About GHD Northern Territory
- Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders;
- A degree in civil engineering;
- The ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team across different geographies, coupled with working independently when required;
- Experience in infrastructure planning, design, project management, ensuring on time delivery of projects; and
- Self motivated with the ability to influence others.
The Northern Territory Region has 60 staff, with offices in Darwin and Alice Springs, and delivers multi-disciplinary services to clients in the public and private sectors, with a focus on delivering economically viable and ecologically sustainable outcomes.
