At Transurban, the Maintenance team work hard to maintain and support over 13 roads and tunnels across Australia.  As the CityLink Maintenance Engineer - Civil you will be heavily involved in understanding and assisting with the maintenance of our assets. You will be responsible for the ongoing management of contractors who perform work on CityLink, create monthly reports (including KPI reporting, maintenance and budgets), ensuring all staff are compliant and our assets are safe. You will work with a variety of individuals in and outside of the business, including sub-contractors, engineers and technicians. The impact you’ll have

  • You’ll support the Senior Maintenance Engineer with a variety of project support, engineering and maintenance tasks.
  • You’ll develop, schedule and supervise maintenance activities for CityLink
  • You’ll help collect and organise data, prepare monthly reports and technical documentation.
  • You’ll be responsible for organising and managing sub-contractors for work completed on CityLink
  • You’ll be a strong advocate for all things HSE, and ensure all activity follows the Transurban framework

The talents you’ll bring

  • You’ll have 3+ years’ experience in an engineering role after completing your Bachelors’ Degree in Civil Engineering
  • You’ll enjoy problem solving, and enjoy the various challenges that come with a fast-paced and evolving organisation.
  • As a strong communicator, you enjoy dealing with various stakeholders, both technical and non-technical
  • You’ll have the ability to prioritise, delegate and remain calm in a crisis. You’re also keen to get your hands dirty to resolve a situation.
  • You’ll be energetic and enthusiastic, you will demonstrate initiative with a confident and flexible manner.
  • You have a license to drive – so that you can visit site and attend external meetings.
  • A natural problem solver, you’ll have the ability to apply your technical skills to practical problems.
