The Role

This may be an opportunity for you! Working with a small team, you will contribute to the management of Council’s capital works program – currently $100M per annum.

This position will provide you with a great opportunity to:

Accelerate your exposure to and knowledge of Project Management with a particular emphasis on Capital Project programming.

  • Gain an overview of hundreds of capital projects across a broad range of Transport

Infrastructure (footpaths, share ways, roads, bridges, car parks etc) and Stormwater

Infrastructure (Flood mitigation, stormwater network – quantity and quality).

  • Develop specific skills in data management and analysis through daily use of a purpose built database used for managing Council’s annual Capital Works Program.
  • This is a limited term placement, up to November 2022 with the possibility of an extension or permanency, depending on performance and organisational requirements.
  • Suitable candidates may be placed on an eligibility list for future opportunities in the team, which may include part-time or temporary roles.
