Barminco has a long history of developing our future leaders through our Graduate Engineering Program. We are currently seeking applications for our 2020 Graduate Program from those graduating either mid or late 2019.
Gaining practical hands on experience, with the ability to achieve first-class Mine Managers accreditation that involves completing your underground experience in operational roles.
Training and exposure to varying sites, different commodities and a range of underground mining methods and environments
Flexibility for individual requirements, with a target completion of two years

Barminco have sites based in WA & QLD, these positions will be FIFO or DIDO to any of our sites depending on your location.
Your position in the graduate program will be based on a FIFO roster, that may vary depending on the site you are assigned to, working in operational roles to complete your underground time within the first 24 months. Within this 24 months you will rotate between underground operational roles and office based engineering roles. You will gain experience in Truck and Nipper positions before moving up to Service Crew, Charge up, Shotcrete/Agi Operator, Bogger, Long Hole Drill and Jumbo enabling you to fully understand underground operations and work towards gaining your Mine Managers Accreditation.
If you are successful, as part of the onboarding process, you will be required to undertake a full pre-employment medical, and drug and alcohol screening. Site specific clearances will also be required, which includes a National Police Clearance Certificate.
