What will you do?
In this role your key focus will be to lead the technical delivery and design management of civil water infrastructure, working major and complex projects covering investigations, studies, design and construction phase technical advice.
You will join our NSW water team, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that 'Bring Ideas to Life' for our clients. With a focus on building our water and wastewater engineering team, we are actively recruiting for those with a passion for working collaboratively, delivering great outcomes for our clients and building on technical knowledge.
Role can be Sydney, Newcastle or Canberra based.
We know the work we do is vital in assisting our world's economic development and, it's the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart. Here are the key things you will do to 'bring ideas to life'.
  • Lead and manage the technical delivery of challenging and complex water and wastewater projects across the entire lifecycle for our local clients including Water Infrastructure NSW / WaterNSW, Department of Planning, Industry and Environment (DPIE), Icon Water, Hunter Water and Sydney Water. Work and collaborate with others supporting clients and teams across ANZ and Asia.
  • As a senior member of the engineering team, provide mentoring and support to foster ongoing capability building.
  • Apply your passion, technical engineering and design management skills to ensure delivery of high-quality outputs and enable collaborative working with others to deliver excellent project outcomes. Build trusted relationships with our clients.
  • Continue your own ongoing learning and professional development; further build eminence; and enhance your technical skills in civil engineering and design management.
  • Engage others with your written and verbal communication skills to support inter-disciplinary relationships and client relationships.

Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need a tertiary qualification - Civil Engineering - and relevant experience in the water industry and larger projects.
