Victoria's Big Build (Major Transport Infrastructure Authority - MTIA) was established to oversee the major transport projects in planning and construction to deliver 119 major road and rail projects that will change the way that Victorians work, live and travel. Projects teams include - Rail Projects Victoria (Metro Tunnel, Melbourne Airport Rail, Regional Rail Revival), North East Link Project, West Gate Tunnel Project, Level Crossing Removal Project, and Major Roads Project Victoria. The Authority works closely with the Department of Transport to ensure major construction activities and disruptions are coordinated across the network. This includes plans to keep people moving through major work periods. We also work with industry to ensure it has the skilled workers needed to deliver Victoria's massive construction program.

  • Full-time, two-year Graduate Program based in Victoria with rotations across the business

About the role 

Qualifications: Mechatronics Engineering, Engineering (Adv Manufacturing) 

You will have the opportunity to work alongside industry experts on reviewing the design, systems engineering, testing, integration and assurance of our systems network across one or more of the projects delivered. Be exposed to the development and delivery of project scope and technical requirements to meet the operational, quality, cost, time, safety and environmental outcomes.

Graduates will be employed at a VPS3 grade with a starting salary of $68,884 plus superannuation.

We are seeking recent graduates, representative of Victoria's diverse community to join the 2021 Victoria's Big Build Graduate Program. Take the opportunity to build both your career and Victoria's infrastructure. 

You will be highly motivated, demonstrate strong interpersonal and problem-solving capabilities and keen to kick start your career. 

To be eligible, you must have completed your degree between January 2019 and January 2021 and have Australian full working rights.
