Custom Fluidpower is an Independent leader in the Fluid Power market with Branches throughout Australia.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our Western Australian Engineering team.

The successful applicant will possess appropriate qualifications a Master Degree in Mechatronics as a minimum, plus 3D drawing and modeling proficiency, preferably using Autodesk Inventor. The ability to priorities and analyze, and the desire to grow with the business. 

Previous experience within the Renewable energy space will be a definite advantage. A good command of the English language is essential and high level of interpersonal skills as a large part of the role will be communication with customers.

Duties will involve, yet not limited to:

  • Hydraulic system and mechanical design
  • Auditing of fixed plant equipment
  • General arrangement drawings and detail drawing for fabrication 
  • Knowledge of PLC programming
  • Light current electrical design
  • Project management of workshop manufactured systems
  • Business development of key customers.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this is a hands on role that requires excellent communication and computer skills and teamwork focused with ability to work independently in remote locations.
